About the Role
The General Labor position is responsible for assisting with any area of production in plant.
Duties:
Assemble products for shipment
Prepare material for production- may include loading, unloading, lifting and moving material
Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities- sweep, mop, removed debris
Follow all company rules and policies
Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task.
Follow all safety rules and quality standards
Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
Provide manufacturing support as required
Abilities and Skills
Must have basic knowledge of hand and power tools
Must be able to do basic painting
Must use Personal Protective Equipment required for General Laborers
Must be versatile and able to adapt to daily requirements
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently
Willing to work in excess of 40 hours a week
Must work well in a team based operation
Education/Experience
Previous manufacturing experience preferred

Substantial time standing
Repetitive bending & twisting
Frequent kneeling/crouching/crawling
Repetitive hand grasping
Frequent reaching above the shoulder
Frequent pushing/ pulling
