


About the Role
The Powder Coater-Painter position is responsible for using various painting techniques including powder coating and wet paint spraying.
Duties:
Prepare material for painting - may include loading, unloading, lifting and moving material
Operate all painting equipment including spray guns, paint booth and ovens
Ensure all material is coated/painted uniformly, efficiently and are consistent with established requirements
Clean and maintain all painting equipment
Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities
Follow all company rules and policies
Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task.
Follow all safety rules and quality standards
Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
Abilities and Skills
Preferred background in powder coating and wet painting in a manufacturing environment
Able to stand continuously for long periods of time
Must use Personal Protective Equipment required for Painters
Must be versatile and able to adapt to daily requirements
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently
Willing to work in excess of 40 hours a week
Education/Experience
1 year of powder coating- wet painting experience preferred
